  • Busy holiday for basketball

    The Cadets are gearing up for some exciting basketball action! Here's the upcoming schedule:
    Savannah Christian Holiday Basketball Classic Eckberg Gymnasium
    12/20 Cadets vs SCPS at 8:00 PM 
    12/21 Cadets vs St. Andrews at 5:00 PM
    St. Pius X 25th Annual Coca-Cola Christmas Classic Tournament in Atlanta (12/27-12/30)
    Eight teams from the Southeast will compete for the championship. The teams, parents, and coaches are invited to mass at 10:00 AM on Sunday followed by a brunch. The Cadets' first game is 12/27 at 7:30 PM vs Archbishop Ryan. 
    Georgia: Benedictine and St. Pius X (Atlanta)
    Florida: Bishop Kenny (Jacksonville)
    North Carolina: Charlotte Latin and Charlotte Catholic
    Pennsylvania: Archbishop Ryan (Philadelphia) and Bonner Prendie (Drexel)
    Good luck to the Cadets as they represent their school in these exciting events!
  • Winter sports commenced

    With the conclusion of many fall sports, the winter sports are in action. The Savannah Morning News selected the top area basketball player to watch. Senior "Player of the Year" Caleb Jones and sophomore Ejay Washington were high on the list! The opening game for the Cadets is at 8 p.m. Nov. 30 against Groves in the Enmarket Arena Tournament. The wrestling team had an outstanding day in its opening home dual match with big wins over Windsor Forest, 71-12, Savannah Christian, 73-6, and Jenkins, 58-24. BC travels to Effingham County High School on Saturday for the Blue Line Duals at 9 a.m.. BC's swim team is practicing getting ready for its competition. It's going to be a great season!

  • Alabama basketball's Mr. Bryan Passink '91 visits Benedictine

    Benedictine Military School was honored to have Mr. Bryan Passink, BC Class of 1991, return to campus Tuesday to speak about his experiences as a former basketball player at both Benedictine and the University of Alabama. He shared how he developed “an attitude of gratitude” as he progressed from BC to Alabama to playing professional basketball in Israel. He advised to “embrace the hard” challenges in life. Mr. Passink was a four-year starter at Benedictine and is BC’s all-time leading scorer. He was inducted into the Greater Savannah Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018. He is in his 22nd year as the men’s basketball color analyst for the Crimson Tide Sports Network and works for a biotech company in medical sales.
