Dreams do come true

As a senior, Ferguson earned All-Greater Savannah first-team honors for the second year in a row. He made 15 of 18 field goals with a long of 52 yards, which set a Benedictine record. He connected on 45 of 46 extra points and had touchbacks on 82% of his kickoffs, while averaging 38.8 yards per punt, with only seven of 47 punts returned. He had 17 punts inside the opponents' 20-yard line. He was a Class 4A All-State first-team selection by the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
"Connor had a tremendous impact with our team with his field goals, extra points and his punting and he did a really good job with his kickoffs too with so many touchbacks," Benedictine coach Danny Britt said. "Connor is a quiet young man, but he's very focused. He's a hard worker and dedicated to everything he does. We're really excited about Connor getting the chance to play at Georgia."
