Alabama basketball's Mr. Bryan Passink '91 visits Benedictine
Mr. Passink averaged 30 points per game during his junior and senior seasons at BC, and earned recognition as a Street & Smith’s College Basketball Magazine All-American, a McDonald’s honorable mention All-American, and a Sporting News Top-50 player in America. Mr. Passink was All-City in 1989, ’90, and ’91, as well as Savannah’s Player of the Year in ’91. After scoring more than 2,400 points in high school and leading GHSA Class AAAA in scoring as a senior, he attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Mr. Passink led the Southeastern Conference in free-throw percentage as a senior and finished his career 10th in 3-pointers made and 3-point field goal percentage at Alabama. He played in three NCAA Tournaments (March Madness) and finished first in the Crimson Tide record book for single-season free-throw percentage. Both of his daughters attend the University of Alabama.
